Traveled to Kalibo, Philippines to shoot Brett’s doc on the Ati-atihan festival. It’s a week-long, non-stop festival dedicated to Sto. Nino filled with giant plaster statues, beautiful garish face paint and elaborate group costumes. Kinda pissed I only brought my Lomo La Sardina. On the one hand, I’m pleasantly surprised the photos actually turned out and some things were in focus, because: plastic toy camera. On the other hand, they’re not the greatest…Hence only posting 6. Twas a fun trip though, even if we had to sleep on wooden doors on desks in an abandoned school house…
